ORDERING:
It is preferred that orders be processed on the order form and either posted, faxed or forwarded to our office. Telephone orders will be accepted, however the order will not be processed until written confirmation is received.
TIMBERS:
The timbers used in manufactued cabinet doors and kiln seasoned to 10-12 percent moisture content and carefully selected for approa\priate face grade. Natural variation in grain, colour and texture are considered a characteristic of the timber and are not recognised as faults or defects. Panels are not fixed or glued into the framework of the door, as this restricts the timber's natural movement and may cause splitting.
Geometry of the door is manufactured to Australian Standard AS2688 - 1984. If doors are manufactured within the Australian Standards, the door will be repaired or replaced at our cost. However, if a door is ordered and the dimensions exceed the Australian Standards recommendation, any repairs or replacements will be at the customer's cost.
STORAGE:
Handling and Storage: doors and associated timber products should be stored flat and protected against soilage, dampness, heat and damage.
FINISHING:
NOTE:European Beech should only be finished in a 'two pack' OR 'acid cure' polish.
Sealing and Finishing: prior to final hanging and as soon as possible, doors must always be effectively sealed with at least two coats on both faces and all edges.
